Hotel Information : The hotel is located on Marygate and is opposite the entrance to Museum gardens which lead to York City Centre. The river Ouse flows majestically by at the end of the road, and the historic walls are directly in front of the hotel. The Jorvik is a converted townhouse, split into 22 en-suite bedrooms. Our restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, also light meals and snacks are available in our 24h bar. The Jorvik also has a walled secluded garden, perfact for lazy days relaxing.

Room Information : We have 4 types of room; standard double, standard twin, four poster and superior double/twin. All rooms are en-suite with colour television, tassimo tea & coffee system. Superior rooms have jacuzzi bath and full body shower. Flat screen tv with access to freeview and dvd player.A king size bed which can be converted to twin beds and air conditioning.

Travel Information : By car- From the York ring road A1237 turn on to the A19 signposted York Centre. Follow the road all the way to York for 2.3 miles. Turn right before the walled gate which is sign posted Marygate. Jorvik hotel is 3/4 of way down. By foot- Walk straight through York Museum gardens. Jorvik hotel is directly opposite.

Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
