Hotel Information : Check in is by appointment only and begins at 3pm and ends at 6pm. If you are unable to check in during the designated check in times you or the guest staying with us must notify us at 773-235-2323. It is your responsibility to schedule your arrival time with our concierge if you are not able to check in during the designated check in times. There is not anyone on site that can check you in after 7pm. The hotel DOES NOT have a 24 hour front desk, bellman or concierge. All guest are responsible for transporting their own luggage.
Room Information : The maximum number of quests per room is 2. Visitors are welcome to visit your room anytime before 9pm. No visitors of guests are allowed on the room floors after 9pm.
Food & Beverages : Fine dining and bars are within a short distance of the hotel.
Region Information : 8 minutes from downtown, in the heart of historic Wicker Park's restaurant, shopping and nightlife scene.
Short description : By design, Ruby Room is neither a Hotel nor a typical B&B. If you’re looking for a typical Hotel or B&B setting, we are not the best choice. Our concept is that of relaxation. For this reason, we do not offer telephones or televisions. We do not offer 24 hour reception or bellman services. We make a practice of not entering your room during your stay, unless requested. Ruby Room is a historic property and does not offer an elevator.
Important Information : Upon check-in photo identification and credit card is required. All special requests are subject to availability upon check-in. Special requests cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
**When booking more than 7 rooms, different cancellation policies may apply**
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel.
One child under 4 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Deposit Policy: 100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: 11.9 % Tax is not included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
Meal Plan: This hotel has no meal services.
Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site.
Pets: Pets are not allowed.
