Room Information : Rooms come in three tiers; Double, Queen and Double-Twin beds.
Every room is equipped with a newly remodelled room and private bathroom, colour TV, minibar, international direct phone lines, and data port lines for your convenience. You will receive daily maid service every morning.
Short description : The Mithila Hotel was established in 1920 & fully restored in 1998. Restoration took nearly 2 years to complete taking care to maintain original ceiling moldings and marble flooring. The Mithila Hotel, formerly the Roycroft Hotel, is a highly regarded boutique hotel with modern amenities and affordable rates.
Our family has been at this location for the last 20 years. Along the way we have changed our name once, but we have learned that the most important characteristic customers look for has not changed – a friendly and welcoming staff that exudes traditional hospitality.
We opened The Mithila Hotel with a simple idea: at your favourite hotel, you feel like you’re coming home. You’ll find warm, comfortable surroundings and friendly staff who greet you by name. Since there are only 40 rooms, you’ll find peace and quiet.

Hotel Information : Hotel does not have parking, but garage parking is 2 blocks away for USD 14 per day. Must register at hotel first to receive discount flyer for parking.

Child Policy : Children are allowed in all room types, maximum 1 child per parents room. No charge for children under 3 years old, maximum age for children in parents room is 17 years.

*Directions from the South, Including San Francisco Airport, on Highway 101:
Take Highway 101 North towards San Francisco.
As you approach the city on Highway 101 you will see signs for the Golden Gate Bridge / Civic Center. This will be for the left lanes because the highway splits here. If you stay in the right lanes, you will head toward Berkeley and Oakland on the Bay Bridge.
After you successfully merge into the left lanes, take the first exit, Ninth Street.
The Ninth Street exit empties on to Bryant Street. Travel across Bryant Street and stay on Ninth Street for five blocks until you get to Market Street. This is a major thoroughfare. Go across Market Street.
Ninth Street changes its name to Larkin Street. Stay on Larkin Street for eleven blocks.
Make a right turn on to Post Street.
Within two blocks make a left on to Leavenworth Street.
Make an immediate left on to Sutter Street.
The Mithila Hotel is a half block on the right side at 972 Sutter Street, under a beige awning.
