Region Information : The hotel is in the heart of Krakow’s old town, in the centre of the city. Krakow’s Main Market Square, the Cloth Hall and St Mary's Basilica are just metres away. Wawel castle is less than a kilometre from the hotel. Just over the road is the legendary Café Camelot, which the Washington Post described as the best café in the world.

Short description : The old world glamour and elegant sophistication of this hotel mirror its setting in the heart of Krakow’s Old Town. The Hotel Pod Różą is the oldest hotel in Krakow and has, in the past, played host to Balzac, Franz Liszt and Tsar Alexander I. Today it retains an air of grace and elegance, whilst not compromising on modern conveniences such as satellite TV and Wi-Fi wireless internet access. The hotel’s history is gracefully fused with 21st century comfort; as elegant, sophisticated rooms lead into stylish, modern, stone-faced bathrooms. In the heart of Krakow, this historic, elegant hotel is the ideal base for exploring this historic, elegant city.

Room Information : Every floor of the hotel has its own unique character and décor. Each room has been individually furnished in an elegant and sophisticated manner. The hotel’s old world glamour and charm reflect its setting in the historic and beautiful heart of Krakow’s Old Town. However the hotel does not compromise on modern comforts, conveniences and technology. The modern well-appointed bathrooms are stylish and faced with natural stone.

Hotel Information : The Hotel is in the centre of Krakow, just 50 metres from the Main Market Square and St Mary's Basilica. Every hour a bugle call is played from the tower of St Mary's Basilica in the centre of Krakow - it used to be an announcement of the opening and closing of the city's gateways. The hotel is so close that the bugle call can be heard from the doors of the hotel and some rooms have a view of the tower. The hotel’s historic 500 year-old cellars offer excellent meeting and banqueting facilities with two fully equipped meeting rooms, each with a capacity of 50 people. Work out or relax in the hotel's fitness room and sauna, which is on the hotel's top floor and offers stunning panoramic views of Krakow’s Old Town. Some parts of the hotel are suitable for disabled guests. By prior arrangement, and for an additional fee, the hotel can organise airport transfers. Please advise the front desk in advance if this service is required.

Food & Beverages : The hotel has two restaurants: In a glass-covered atrium, the Restaurant Pod Różą offers traditional Polish specialities alongside international favourites. The restaurant’s menu changes seasonally, reflecting the ingredients available locally. The larger of the two restaurants, the Restaurant Pod Różą really comes into its own in the summer months, when the large glass ceiling bathes the room with light. The Italian Amarone restaurant recalls the pavement cafes and trattoria of Southern Italy and Tuscany. A string of small, intimate rooms make the restaurant ideal for a romantic dinner. The hotel’s own wine cellar, Vinoteka offers an array of speciality wines from different regions of Italy.
