Short description : Located in the Faliro Coastal Zone, within walking distance of the Peace and Friendship Stadium, this hotel offers an alternative to city centre accommodation.
With the tram line outside the hotel you will find it easy to enter the city's historic areas and see the important sights of Athens.
The Olympic Beach Volleyball Centre and the O.L.P. Exhibition Centre can be easily reached by bus or tram.
Travel Information : By Bus (from the airport):
- Take the X95 bus from the airport and get off at Syntagma Square.
- Get bus number 40 or trolley bus number 1, going to Piraeus and get off at Markomihelakion Bus Station.
- Hotel Platon is 30 metres ahead.
Region Information : Hotel Platon lies on Poseidonos Avenue in the Faliro Coastal Zone. It is within walking distance of the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF), where many exhibitions as well as athletic events take place.
The newly built Karaiskaki Football Stadium and the subway station are only a few hundred metres away. Just by the hotel's entrance, you can take the tram or bus to various beaches across the Attica coast.
Only 10 minutes away, you can find Mikrolimano, the most picturesque yacht harbour in Athens, with a growing variety of trendy restaurants, bars, clubs, and cafes.
Within walking distance, or a short bus drive, you can find the subway, where in no more than 12 minutes you can arrive in the centre of old Athens. A few stops further will take you to the Olympic Stadium.
Beside the subway, buses run towards Athens or the port of Piraeus.
Food & Beverages : The bar/breakfast area is open 24 hours a day, with continental breakfast being served from 07.30 up until 10.30. Snacks and all kinds of beverages are served throughout the day.
In the area you may find a TV, a PC with internet connection, as well as a piano available to guests with a musical flair.
Room Information : Rooms have recently undergone a major refurbishment, featuring new beds and mattresses, and newly installed tiles, for perfect cleanliness.
The are 2 types of rooms available for our guests. One in the front side facing the street, with a partial sea view of Saronicos Gulf, and one facing the back of the hotel. Room allocation is subject to hotel's availability.
Hotel Information : Hotel Platon features 39 rooms, a bar and breakfast area, and a 24-hour front office desk, with trained, multilingual personnel.
It is a very clean, family-owned hotel, and was an official member of the Organizing Committee for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
Extra beds are not available.
