- Take the A1 motorway A1.
- Exit at Firenze Nord (coming from Milano, Bologna or Genova) or Firenze Sud (coming from Rome).

- Once you arrive in Piazza della Libertà (Libertà square), take Via Cavour.
- Once you reach the Cathedral, turn right; the Sofitel is about 300 metres along on the right-hand side.
