Short description : The Avidon Hotel Airport is a business- and design hotel located in the quiet airport area. Due to the convenient location and the good connection to public transports the hotel is a perfect starting point to discover Dusseldorf. Become our guest and spoil yourself at the friendly atmosphere of our elegant rooms.
There is a taxi station directly in front of the hotel. A tram as well as a train drives you to the airport (1km; 5min.), the exhibition (3,5km; 12min.) and the city centre (6km; 15 min).
Room Information : Most of the prestigious rooms with big and sound-proofed windows offer a spacious balcony.
The king sized beds and the anallergenic bed clothes provide for a good night’s sleep. The beds in the single rooms are sized 1.40m x 2.10m and the ones in the double rooms are sized 2m x 2.10m (or 1m x 2.10m each).
As a matter of course guests will find a soft drink in their room free of charge.
Hotel Information : There are 2 non-smoking floors in our hotel. The conference rooms (3) are available for up to 35 persons.
Region Information : The Avidon is located in the quiet airpot area and next to the exhibition centre. It takes only 5 minutes to go to the airport Düsseldorf and you just need 7 minutes by car to reach the fairgrounds.
The famous old town of Düsseldorf with its many interesting bars, restaurants and tourist attractions is only e few minutes from the hotel. Museums, theatres and the shopping-miles “Königsallee” & “Shadowstrasse” is easy reachable by public transport directly next to the hotel.
Travel Information : By motorway A3 from Cologne
You take motorway A3 until intersection Ratingen Ost and drive on A44 in direction to Düsseldorf until the intersection Düsseldorf - Nord. Then you bend off on the A52 until the intersection Düsseldorf Unterrath/Rath after that you turn right on the Hamborner Straße you drive over a small bridge and then you take the next possibility to turn left. On the left side you will see our hotel, you can park on our free hotel parking place behind the hotel.
By motorway A52 from Essen

From Main Station
a) You take the tramp 707 direction Unterrath (end station)
b)You take the Train S7 direction Airport until stop: Unterrath
c) You take train S1 direction Dortmund until stop: Unterrath
From Airport:
a) You take a Taxi ca. 6,- Euro
b) By car: to the exit Lichtenbroich on the Parsevalstraße and turn right on Harborner Straße and the next possibilty left and on the left side you will see the hotel. You can park on our free hotel parking place behind the hotel.
C) You take the S7 (direction Solingen) it is just one station to the Unterrath stop.
