Short description : This charming, quietly located hotel is situated within walking distance of many of London's famous designer shops. The restaurants of Hampstead Village, St John's High Street, Primrose Hill and Belsize Park are a short walk away.
You may never need to move out of the area as Camden Market, Kenwood House, Swiss Cottage, Regent's Park, Primrose Hill Park, London Zoo, Lord's Cricket Ground, Alexandra Palace and Wembley Stadium are all within easy reach. If you do want to travel further, the West End theatres and London's attractions are easily accessible, with Chalk Farm, Belsize Park and Swiss Cottage underground stations close by. These provide easy access to the mainline railway stations at King's Cross and St Pancras, Waterloo-Europe via the Eurostar terminal and the Paddington-Heathrow and Victoria-Gatwick express trains which run frequently.

From the North:
Follow the M1 on to the A406 North Circular Road (eastbound). Follow signs for the A41 Swiss Cottage. At Swiss Cottage, head left towards Chalk Farm and Camden Town. At the second set of lights, turn left onto Primrose Hill Road. The Hampstead Britannia Hotel is on the right-hand side.
From the West:
Follow the M40 on to the A40 and follow signs for A406 North Circular Road. Once on the A406 follow signs for the A41 Swiss Cottage. At Swiss Cottage, head left towards Chalk Farm and Camden Town. At the second set of lights, turn left onto Primrose Hill Road. The Hampstead Britannia Hotel is on the right-hand side.
From the North-East:
Take the M11 on to the M25 (anti-clockwise) towards Watford (M1). Take the M1 southbound and follow the M1 on to the A406 North Circular Road (eastbound). Follow signs for the A41 Swiss Cottage. At Swiss Cottage, head left towards Chalk Farm and Camden Town. At the second set of lights, turn left onto Primrose Hill Road. The Hampstead Britannia Hotel is on the right-hand side.
From the South:
Join the M25 (clockwise) towards Heathrow. Continue on the M25 (northbound) and join the M1. Follow the M1 onto the A406 North Circular Road (eastbound). Follow signs for the A41 Swiss Cottage. At Swiss Cottage, head left towards Chalk Farm and Camden Town. At the second set of lights, turn left onto Primrose Hill Road. The Hampstead Britannia Hotel is on the right-hand side.
From the East:
Join the M25 and travel anti-clockwise (northbound) and join the M1. Follow the M1 on to the A406 North Circular Road (eastbound). Follow signs for the A41 Swiss Cottage. At Swiss Cottage, head left towards Chalk Farm and Camden Town. At the second set of lights, turn left on to Primrose Hill Road. The Hampstead Britannia Hotel is on the right-hand side.
Car parking:
There is limited private car parking available at the hotel. Public pay car parks are located close by.
By train:
From Waterloo Station (Eurostar), take the Jubilee line (westbound) to Swiss Cottage.
From Euston Station, take the Northern Line (northbound towards Edgware) to Chalk Farm.
By underground:
Chalk Farm Station and Belsize Park are approximately 7 minutes walk from the hotel. Swiss Cottage is approximately 10 minutes away.
Alternatively, you can take the following buses from the Tube stations:
From Swiss Cottage station on the Jubilee Line, go to the bus Stop E and take the bus C11 until Primrose Hill Road bus stop. The hotel is opposite this bus stop.
From Chalk Farm station on the Northern Line, take the bus 31 towards Notting Hill Gate until Primrose Hill bus stop. The next street is Primrose Hill Road. The hotel will be on your right.
