Hotel Information : The hotel places a great emphasis on the organic, serving an organic breakfast including juices, cold cuts, soft boiled eggs and fresh fruit. The bread and pastries served at breakfast are available to buy at the adjoining Emmery’s gourmet bakery.
At the hotel’s guest-only cafe, you can purchase the hotel’s own perfume line, organic delicacies, the Mexican crockery and the cutlery from Bali as well as the guest toiletries. The cafe is open 24 hours a day, so there will always be time to choose a unique gift to take home with you.
The hotel has a quiet courtyard garden with decked walkways to the rear, allowing you to relax and take a break from the pace of the city.
Bertrams is completely non-smoking, but smoking is allowed in the garden with heating lamps and blankets for your convenience.
The hotel has 3 small conference rooms with a maximum of 14 people per room.
Due to the age of the building, Bertrams is not suitable for disabled guests.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.

Room Information : The hotel's 47 rooms and mini suites, some with balcony, are decorated in French colonial style. The teak four-poster beds are dressed with Mexican throws, while original art works hang on the wall.
In the sleek bathrooms, some with claw-footed baths, you will find bath oil, shampoos and soaps organically produced for the hotel.
Travel Information : By Car:
- From the City Hall Square simply follow Vesterbrogade for 10 minutes drive and then Bertrams will appear on the left side next to a bakery shop called Emmery's.
Parking:
- The hotel does not have its own parking. However, it is possible to buy a parking ticket at the front desk which is valid for parking in the immediate area.
By Bus:
- From the City Hall Square you can catch bus number 6A which will take you directly to the hotel.
From Copenhagen Airport (10km):
- A taxi from the airport costs approximately EUR 27 or you can catch the train to Copenhagen Central Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes and costs 4 EURO.
- From there catch bus 6A or walk directly to Bertrams.
- The walk takes approximately 15 minutes.
Region Information : Bertrams is only 15 minutes walk from the city centre of Copenhagen, Tivoli Gardens and the pedestrian street "Strøget". The royal guards can be seen at Amalienborg Castle which is located next to Nyhavn (New Habour), where a lot of bars and restaurants can be found. This is a very nice area of Copenhagen as it also has some of the oldest buildings in the city. All this is within walking distance.
Important Information : The hotel accepts small pets at no additional charge. Pets are not allowed in dining areas.
Additional costs:
From January 1, 2007 through April 30, 2007: DKK 200,- for an extra bed, per child(older then 2)/ per adult per night.
From May 1, 2007 through April 30, 2008: DKK 250,- for an extra bed
per child(older then 2)/ per adult per night.
