Short description : The Axel Hotel is the newest member of the Guldsmed family and re-opened this summer 2007, after renovation. The hotel is located in a quiet street behind Tivoli Gardens and the Central Station.
All rooms are unique and some have different details such as baths and furnished balconies.
We re-opened on June 1 and Axel will therefore still partly be under construction this summer, and construction noise may occur during daytime. We will of course do our utmost to minimize this.
Furthermore, the spa & event facilities, the courtyard and the evening restaurant will be ready to welcome you this autumn 2007.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged DKK 250.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is included.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge.
Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.
Parking: No parking available.
Pets: Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.
Hotel Information : Axel blends traditional Balinese style with modern art – teak 4-poster beds, small balconies combined with Persian rugs on the wooden floors, genuine art on the walls and modern technology such as flat-screen TVs, DVD players and wireless internet. AXEL will, in addition to its 129 rooms and penthouse suites, also include fully equipped conference facilities and a traditional wellness-area with indoor-pool and a lovely courtyard.
The concept for the Guldsmeden hotels is unique, and a very important feature is the focus on organic products. In all rooms you will find Guldsmeden's own manufactured organic shampoo and cream products.
The sumptuous organic breakfast buffet is a feature in all the Guldsmeden hotels and includes various types of high-quality bread, cakes, fruit, charcuterie and cheeses as well as homemade yoghurt with vanilla and almonds. Breakfast is served on handmade Mexican crockery and can be enjoyed in our lovely heated courtyard or in our restaurant.
Important Information : From January 1, 2007 through April 30, 2007: DKK 200,- for an extra bed, per child(older then 2)/ per adult per night.
From May 1, 2007 through April 30, 2008: DKK 250,- for an extra bed
per child(older then 2)/ per adult per night.
