Short description : Damrak Inn is ideally located on the main road, just 5 minutes walk from the Central Station, in the heart of the city centre opposite the Beurs van Berlage.
The famous red light district, as well as many popular cultural and tourist attractions are within a few minutes walk of the hotel. Damrak Inn is situated in the centre of the night life area of this vibrant city. It is also just 2 minutes walk from Dam Square, the canal boat cruise liners and the Hemp and Torture museum. By tram the hotel is just an 8 minute journey from the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum.
This charming 2-star hotel is easy to find and has basic, but comfortable and clean rooms. Like all buildings in Amsterdam the hotel has steep stairs; please note that it does not have a lift.
Room Information : All rooms are provided with private bathroom/shower or bath and electronic safe and television. Clean towels are provided every day and clean bedlinen every second day during your stay.
There are smoking and non-smoking rooms on request; please specify 'smoking-room' in the comments field of the reservation form.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Travel Information : By Foot (from the Central Station):
- From outside the Central Station simply walk straight ahead down Damrak.
- The Damrak Inn is located about halfway down this street, on your right at numbers 58-59.
Hotel Information : The hotel can reserve a parking space with car hotel Amsterdam.
They will collect your car from the hotel and park it in a secure parking garage during your stay.
On check-out day your car will be delivered back to the hotel on the time you request it.
Pick up and delivery will cost you EUR 10.
Important Information : Due to a recent hotel renovation there will be no telephone and internet access in the rooms during July and August 2007.
Region Information : The Damrak Inn is located just a 5 minute walk from Central Station, 2 minutes from the famous red light district, Dam Square and the canal boat cruise liners.
It is located opposite from the Beurs van Berlage museum, the former stock exchange.
