Food & Beverages : There is no restaurant in the hotel, as guests can choose from the numerous typical Swiss or international restaurants in the old city. Breakfast is served directly into the room by a maid (guests should fill in an order form before going to bed to specify what they want and when they want it, and then hang it on their door).
Region Information : The hotel is located in the heart of Zurich's old town and is only a few steps away from the main train station and the world-famous "Bahnhofstrasse". The lake and beach area can be reached in a few minutes, and many sights and points of interest can be found in the immediate surroundings. There are all kinds of shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs in this area.
Travel Information : From the airport:
The shuttle bus service “SLS” takes you directly to the hotel (for a charge). Alternatively, take tram line no. 4 (direction “Tiefenbrunnen”), get off at station “Rathaus” and turn to your left up to Marktgasse.
Short description : The G-Hotel Goldenes Schwert (“Golden Sword”) is a young, trendy and gay-friendly 3-star hotel in the old town of Zurich, only a few minutes from the most important sights of the city.
The hotel offers spacious and recently refurnished bedrooms, each one decorated individually. The T&M Club, the AAAH! Club and the Pigalle Bar are located in the same building. Music might be heard at the hotel as well. This gay-friendly hotel (run by gay owners) with its gay nightclub is the perfect choice for the young and the young at heart in central Zurich.
Important Information : The nightclub is open until the early hours of the morning, which can be a little noisy in the lower rooms.
Cancelation Policy : Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
