Short description : Nottingham's highest rated town house hotel, according to the AA Guide, this is a "Hip hotel with a heart". The hotel was recently awarded the Condé Nast Johansens 25th Anniversary 2007 Award for Excellence. The Lace Market Hotel is Nottingham's premier small luxury town house hotel with just 42 individually designed bedrooms and an award-winning restaurant set in the heart of the city.

Hotel Information : Lace Market Hotel is a luxury town house hotel with individuality and style. The hotel is understated and chic yet value for money, combined with a distinctly non-corporate approach. Eye catching details include chain mail chandeliers, horsehair wall lights and sumptuose red leather seating. All of the bedrooms have standard features - flat screen televisions, hypo allergenic bedding and voice mail. Double rooms have 5' width beds and are comfortable for longer stays. Just about all the king bedded rooms enjoy picturesque views over St Marys Church, the Lace Market and Nottingham's historic Shire Hall. Superior Rooms also have king size beds and are extremely spacious - with dressing areas and views of the floodlit Georgian facade of the Galleries of Justice. These rooms also have large feature bathrooms with double basins and bidet. Finally, the Studios - just one on each floor - are split level, with wrap around views of the Lace Market. Studios are ideal for special occasions, or for corporate VIPs who you really need to impress. Merchants restaurant is a 3 time Nottingham Restaurant Awards winner for: 'Best Drinks & Wine list' 2004 & 2005 and 'Best Service'2005 open Tuesday through to Sunday. Alternatively, guests can enjoy real ale and hearty British fayre in the hotel's gastro pub, Cock & Hoop. "The perfect venue for a late evening martini", Guardian October 2005 "The place to be", Sunday Express, October 2005 If a cocktail is more your thing, SAINT, our cocktail bar is certainly the venue for you.

Room Information : All of the bedrooms have "standard" features - all have flat screen television, hypo allergenic bedding and voicemail.

Region Information : All guests enjoy complimentary access to the state of the art equipped Holmes Place which is a short walk from the hotel. Complete with swimming pool, work out studios and treatment rooms, Holmes Place is probably Nottingham's most exclusive health club. Location For those in search of retail therapy or entertainment, the hotel is within five minutes walking distance to the shopping centre, the National Arena and the City's vibrant Lace Market quarter.

Travel Information : From the M1, take junctions 24, 25 or 26 (whichever is appropriate) and follow signs for Nottingham City centre. Whichever route you take into the city, follow the large brown tourist information signs for Galleries of Justice and Lace Market. At the big roundabout overlooked by the East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) and the BBC take exit sign posted A60 Mansfield. Take the second left into 'Hollowstone' following the brown tourist information sign past Saint Mary's Church to the Galleries of Justice. The hotel is on the right directly opposite the Galleries of Justice and normally has a flag flying above the front door.

Important Information : Please note: the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays apart from for breakfast. The Cock and Hoop, the hotel's gastro-pub next door, is open everyday and serves food.
